ADULTING 101 TEEN CAMP: Open to Teens aged 13-16

What skills do you need to become an adult and be successful in the world?  Worried that you don’t yet have those skills yet, or don’t know where to get them? Don’t sweat it, this fun camp has got you covered!  Local experts will help teens learn about:

• WORKING WITH YOUR HANDS - Maintaining a car, changing a tire, checking car fluids, hammering a nail, sawing a board, etc.

• GETTING A JOB - Acing a job interview, dressing to impress, completing a job application, and getting references, etc.

• BECOME A HOME SUPERSTAR - Cooking a good meal, buying food on a budget, sewing on a button, etc.

• STAYING HEALTHY AND AVOIDING BODILY RISKS - maintaining your body health, learning basic sexual education, including contraception, avoiding sexually transmitted infections, emphasizing consent and respect. 

• MANAGING YOUR $$$ - saving your money,  opening a checking account, avoiding debt and high fee credit cards, etc.
