The Sikh evening prayer Rehraas Sahib calls out to the Holy, saying “Amongst all is the light—You are that Light.” Cultures and religions around the globe light candles and kindle fires during this special season, defying the darkness and sharing messages of joy and hope. As we prepare for our own candlelit Christmas Eve services this evening at UUTC, all are invited to a multi-faith celebration of light.
Please note: There will be only ONE worship service this morning, at 11AM, with coffee and conversation beforehand. There will be a 4pm Family Service and a 6pm Contemplative Service in celebration of Christmas Eve later in the day.
This month's theme: Light
Speaker: Rev. Ilene Tompkins-Gillispie
