Community Outreach Endowment Fund Award Application

Thank you for your interest in receiving a UUTC Community Outreach Endowment Fund Award. Your application may be submitted electronically to the Endowment Committee once you click the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the application.

Purpose of the Award: This is a small, one-time award that will allow the Transylvania County, NC recipient organization to undertake a specific project or fill a need that may not be possible without the assistance of these funds. Typical award allocations are between $2,000-$4,000, but the amount is dependent on the number of organizations applying and available funds.

Requirements for the Award Recipient Organization:

  • The organization will be physically located within Transylvania County, North Carolina.

  • The organization will have a non- profit 501(c)(3) or (c)4 status or have access to this status through a partner organization.

  • The organization will not use the award for operating expenses.

  • The organization will use the award for a specific project or specific needs within a single year.

  • The organization will not use the award for any type of electoral, political, or political partisan purpose(s).

  • If receiving an award, within a year, the organization will provide directly to UUTC an update on the use made of the award, including specific details on expenditures. This update may be in the form of a letter.
