Campus Survey 2024

This survey is designed to "take the pulse" of all Members and Friends of UUTC as we consider how best to prepare for our current and future space and online needs. Please take the time to consider your answers carefully, so that your answers most accurately reflect your judgment about the issues raised in each question.

Before you begin, you should know that under the current zoning rules, we cannot expand our building or add a second floor. Also, under the IRS’s “Neighborhood Use Rule,” we will be required to demolish the Chalice House and the blue house on the far edge of our property. These rules mean that our vision cannot rely on the spaces in those buildings, only on the property beneath them. Consider how you wish UUTC to be present in your life, and how you wish for it to meet our Mission and advance our Vision. Thank you in advance for your thoughtful responses.

Our Mission is to support individual spiritual journeys and to promote economic and environmental justice. If you are not familiar with UUTC’s Vision 2023-2027, consider reading it here before you complete this survey. Three statements in particular from the Vision relate to the work of this survey:

1) UUTC’s campus is a welcoming, easily accessible and safe place with physical and virtual entranceways.

2) The Campus is designed to be multipurpose and flexible to accommodate varied programs for all ages, from those within the congregation and from the community of Brevard.

3) The Campus is composed of buildings, green space and an online platform and is designed for expansion or reconfiguration to evolve with the Congregation’s needs.
