The Art of Seeing

In-Person services are at 10 am. Masks are optional — use protection as you feel the need. Live-stream the service using the YouTube link below.

Modern neuroscience has taught us that we don't see with our eyes. It's the brain/mind that does all the work in what we see, or think we see. This "new" discovery sheds light on one of the lessons of Jesus, "they have eyes but don't see.” Seeing with the eye is an act. Seeing with the mind is an art and it does not come naturally. We learn how to see, or unfortunately, we don't learn. We will explore the connections between our eyes and our minds.
