In recent news and perhaps in our daily encounters with others, there has been a sharp increase in public policy and sentiment that promotes racism, homophobia, and sexism. Many say this has happened because our culture refuses to confront these ideologies head-on. This is particularly true due to the systemic racism our Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) neighbors face daily. Sometimes we need courage to face the fear we might experience when siding with Love and Justice. Where do we find the Courage to be an Ally?
