Welcome, all new members, to our spiritual explorers group. Recently, we have been focusing on sacred activism. It is our passion for love, justice, peace, and dignity that guides us. We are reading books that inform us as we move forward in a world turned upside down. Our latest book is published by Beacon Press, our Unitarian Universalist-associated publishing house.
Reverend Dr. William J Barber started his ministry in North Carolina. He began the Poor People’s Campaign in 2017. This campaign calls for a national moral revival. His book, Revive Us Again, suggests ways to build a movement to make America fair and just for everyone.
We would love to have you join us in this book discussion to reflect upon what we, as gentle, loving people, can do today to defeat fascism and restore democracy. We meet on Thursdays at 2 o’clock starting January 22. In the UUTC sanctuary. The first session will be led by Reverend Earle Rabb.
