After a childhood of painful shyness, Judith Moore made the choice to change her life. Bit by bit and year by year, she challenged herself to overcome situations that previously had been insurmountable for her. In her "teaching," as she prefers to call it, Judith shares her journey and what it meant to become the person she envisioned herself to be. The lesson applies to us all, regardless of age, especially in our current world situation where we're being challenged daily to stay out of fear and find and live from our true center.

Guest Speaker- Judith Moore

Judith has spent her life as a spiritual explorer, mother and grandmother, psychotherapist, entrepreneur, photographer… and a whole bunch of other things.

Raised in Philadelphia as a Quaker, she found herself outside of the mainstream of religious practices, eventually deciding that was just fine for her. It meant she never felt the need for an intermediary between herself and Source, so she began to meditate to go deeper and find her own way.

Judith moved to Brevard in October 2022 where she has found community here at UU, for which she is enormously grateful. Having moved many times in her life, she is happy to put down roots in this small town where she expects to remain until she moves out permanently.
