With funds from a B. W. Wells Grant from the North Carolina Native Plant Society, UUTC has largely completed an ambitious plan to remove invasive species in cultivation at the Northwest corner of our campus at Varsity & Broad and to fill those spaces with native plants that support Appalachian species. With summer, while cool, upon us, it is time to celebrate the work that has been done.

The Summer Solstice is the perfect time to celebrate things of the earth, honoring Pagan traditions around the globe. Join us for a short ceremony followed by a celebration worthy of the good, green Earth.
