Our very own Carol Flake will be our guest speaker and will explore 'hope' on this, the first Sunday of Advent. The Celtic Wisdom that John Phillip shares views the Holy Spirit as the “wild goose,” which is passionate, noisy, and courageous. The Wild Goose reminds us that spirit cannot be tamed or contained. The Holy Spirit works through ordinary human beings like you and me to bring a healing and purifying presence to all of creation. The work of renewing and reforming is never done in isolation but as part of a community like the one here at UUTC.
