Spiritual Explorers is open to anyone who would like to explore spiritual teachers such as Buddha, Jesus, Lao Tze, as well as current issues and authors. No registration is required. You may simply show up in the sanctuary at 2:00pm. Masks are optional.

We are pleased to welcome our Minister Emeritus, Rev. Ernie Mills, as the leader of our first three sessions. His topic is THE BODY/SOUL CONNECTION. New discoveries in modern neuroscience are helping us better understand the connections between brain and mind, or body and soul. There are many implications to these new discoveries. One implication has to do with how the teachings of Buddha, Jesus, Lao Tze and the practice of Kundalini yoga help forge pathways that “illuminate” the Executive Function within us.

Beginning October 6th, we are fortunate to have our own Reverend Dr. Carter Heyward leading us in an exploration of her new book The Seven Deadly Sins of Christian Nationalism. Considering what is currently happening within our country, this is an extremely important and timely topic. The book will be published on September 15th and will be available locally at Highland Books and through Amazon. She will be with us to lead the first two sessions, and perhaps even more, depending upon her schedule. When she can’t be with us, Rev. Dr. Earle Rabb will lead our discussion.
