Harry Potter & the Seven Rainbow Promises

This Sunday is exceptional... you may need to stay all morning! We actually have two completely different services. The first is led by Rev. Ilene. The second is created for us by our UUTC Youth.

SIBLINGS IN FAITH  (9:15)
Rev. Ilene

Rev. Ilene will offer a previously-shared sermon on the topic "Siblings in Faith," reflecting on her experiences with the UU Partner Church program. As our congregation prepares to learn about a 2019 pilgrimage to the homeland of the Unitarian faith, come be refreshed in your understanding of our spiritual connections to Transylvania, Romania.

HARRY POTTER & THE 7 RAINBOW PROMISES (11:00)
UUTC Youth with Heather Layton, DRE (11:00)

We will share with the congregation our successes in fighting the societal horcruxes that plague our world: poverty, child slavery, illiteracy, animal cruelty and destruction of Mother Nature. Harry Potter reminds us that our greatest power is love. In life’s battle, our shield is our 7 Principles that unite us as Unitarian Universalists. We can learn a lot from J.K. Rowling’s characters, especially that love protects.

This month's theme: Calling

Speaker: Rev. Ilene Kaur Tompkins-Gillispie

The first guiding Principle of Unitarian Universalism is the inherent worth and dignity of every person. UUTC welcomes all—persons of various ages, races, gender identities, sexual orientations, theological and political beliefs, socio-economic status, educational backgrounds, abilities and ethnicities. Services are at 9:15 and 11:00am. The building is wheelchair accessible, dress may be casual and visitors of all ages, races, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, and beliefs are warmly welcomed.

Infant care is available during both services.

Join us for coffee between services at 10:30am!
