Our guest speaker next Wednesday evening is Sharad H. Creasman, the College Minister and Advisor to the President of Brevard College.  Previously, he served as the Senior Minister of Columbia Drive United Methodist Church in Decatur, Georgia.  He is a native of Brevard and a 1996 graduate of Brevard College.  He holds a Master of Theology degree from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology and a Master of Divinity from the Morehouse School of Religion.

He has received numerous honors, including being the Guest Chaplain for the United States Senate.  He is married to his seminary sweetheart, Daphne, and they are the proud parents of two children.

The title of his presentation is “Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community?”  In light of the current political, cultural, and social turmoil in our country, Sharad Creasman will focus on how we can be involved in building a better future.
