Winter Solstice Celebration

Millennia ago, our ancestors personified the sun and earth, and worshiped them as deities. Our modern scientific understanding of natural phenomena has moved us beyond that, but we can surely share its reverence. And, because we all share the same earth, we can celebrate its renewal together. Recognizing our mutual bond with the earth can strengthen our bonds with one another and put into perspective how small the things that separate us truly are.

The ground we stand on is holy; it is our common ground.

We invite you to join us on the longest night, Winter Solstice, Thursday, December 21th at 7:00 pm, to celebrate the return of the sun.

Earlier Event: December 20
Eclectics Jam
Later Event: December 24
Many Lights, One Light
