Make More Art

Meg and Todd Hoke will speak and perform at both the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Unitarian Universalist services on July 10, 2016. “MAKE MORE ART!” is the title of the morning’s message. “Sharing ones creative work is akin to leaping off the high dive. Naked.  In public.  So why pursue a creative life?  Why take the risk of making art? Because it can save your soul and heal the world in the process.  This Sunday we will reflect on taking the risk and inviting the butterflies into your gut.”

When Meg's not being a Social Worker and Todd's not being a Nurse at local hospices, they can be found playing music, listening to live music, drawing sidewalk chalk mandalas and pursuing various other creative outlets in the comfort of their home with two curious dogs.  To date, Todd's greatest creative achievement was gluing hundreds and hundreds of beads on a Honda Civic.   Meg can't nail down just one - but she has undertaken some pretty fancy knitting projects.

Please join us for either service and for coffee fellowship between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. The congregation is located at 24 Varsity Street, Brevard, on the corner of South Broad Park. Children’s Religious Exploration is offered during the 11:00 service. Infant care is available during both services.

UUTC is a Welcoming Congregation inclusive of persons of all backgrounds, faiths and lifestyles.  The building is wheelchair accessible, dress is casual, and visitors are always cordially welcomed.
