In past centuries ministers would preach a sermon just before the election. I’ll take that opportunity - not in any partisan way, but to check that folks have a plan they will follow to vote (perhaps you, like me, have done so already), and the values we hold about using the democratic process. Our religious outlook and our civic responsibilities overlap.
