Social Action Team (Team Leader: Marsha Coe)
The function of the Social Action Team is to provide leadership within the congregation for spiritually nourishing and impactful engagement in social, economic, and environmental justice endeavors that are aligned with UUTC goals and UU values.

Facilities Team (Team Leader: Bob Bennett)
The Facilities Team provides a welcoming building and grounds environment where church members and visitors may experience beauty, serenity, and worship or quiet contemplation in surrounds created with respect for the integrity of our earth and its local ecosystems. When considering the stewardship of the UUTC property, decisions about the management and maintenance of buildings and grounds shall, whenever possible, minimize negative impacts on the environment.

The Team is charged with the management and maintenance of UUTC buildings and grounds in accordance with the selected palette. Some team members focus on the grounds, some on building maintenance, and when the design palette is in question, an Aesthetics sub-team is formed to meet the need. The Facilities Team calls on Members and Friends of UUTC at least twice a year to assist in building and grounds campus Work Days.

Membership Team (Team Leader: Susan Slocum)
The Membership Team supports individual spiritual journeys by greeting, welcoming, and supporting visitors; offering membership classes, and assisting new members and friends to make connections and commitments. We provide invitations, introductions, and connections to all.
Resources and guidance are given for opportunities to serve, give, learn, grow and enjoy fellowship at UUTC. Team tasks include training greeters, managing name tags and the welcome table, following up with visitors, coordinating new member activities, outreach to absent members and friends, encouraging Realm use and profile photos and monitoring local news sources for members in the news.

Loving Hearts (Team Leader: Christine Schmidt)
The Loving Hearts Team serves to build a stronger UU community by supporting and helping the UUTC family. We listen and learn about members and friends with love, caring and respect.
We care about all members, friends and visitors to support our community within UUTC and our community at large. The team gathers information regarding needs and concerns of our members and friends. We offer ongoing support to those who are home-bound via visits, phone calls, emails, cards and notes. We vVisit the sick, hospitalized and those recovering from illness, surgery or loss and report our activities and concerns to the team and minister.
Coordinate social events especially for shut-ins and inactive members, prepare bags of baked goods to take on visits, help with referral to community resources and provide bereavement follow-up.

Family Ministry Team (Team Leaders: Kevin Lausch, Trisha Wesley)
The Family Ministry Team provides the UUTC Community with programs to support families, children, and teens with spiritual development, exploration of Unitarian Universalist values and history, and to provide opportunities for community connection.
In collaboration with the Family Ministries Director, we will develop an annual plan for children’s programming, publicize volunteer opportunities, and help to recruit volunteers. We will ensure the use of best practices in Safe Congregations including screening volunteers, training volunteers and staff, and practicing safety at FM and church events.

Worship Team (Team Leader: Janice Canon)
The Worship Team is charged to assist the minister in providing spiritually nourishing worship services that are consistent with the values of the congregation. The team’s responsibilities and procedures are clearly stated in the Operating Guidelines and include researching and scheduling speakers as well as training Worship Associates and coordinating the many elements of the service. UUs value shared ministry between clergy and congregation and the work of the Worship Team demonstrates that value as evidenced by the synergy experienced when planning, leading, and participating in UUTC Sunday services.

Our Minister: Rev. Bob Renjilian
Our minister’s role is to serve as spiritual leader and advisor to our church members. He leads worship services and gives sermons. He challenges and guides our spiritual focus. Additionally, he provides pastoral care and counseling, conducts special services, and represents Unitarian Universalism in the community. He also works with the congregation's volunteer leaders to provide vision and direction–with the Board and with Ministry Teams. He challenges people to be their best selves.
